MINISTERS CONFERENCE
HELD IN COFFS HARBOUR ON THE 4TH/5TH SEPTEMBER 2010
The FOURTH Ministers conference of the ACSCOA was held on the 4/5th Sept
, and was a great success. Those attending were uplited
by the energy, and The Arch Reverend Don Anson Smith led the meeting, sharing with the Ministers, news of Churches who were becoming new members of the ACSCOA,increasing even more our growing numbers. Everyone agreed it was wonderful that so many Churches are now coming together under the umbrella of the ACSCOA bringing unity to the Spiritual movement.
Arch Reverend Don explained new legislation for Ministers and Assistant Ministers, and updated attending Ministers on general Church administration.
Reverend Angela explained all aspects of Insurance and Liability, as well as explaining in detail the legislation required for becoming an Incorporated body.
As the day wore on and the sun shone Ministers enjoyed lunch and afternoon tea in the gardens, and the open question forum was a welcome time to share experiences.
Four new Ministers were ordained into the ACSCOA and as always that was a moving and special experience not only for the new Ministers, but the on lookers, sharing the moment. Welcome Sue Mailman, Chris Errington, Christine Kingsley and Geoff Kingsley to the association. God bless, and guide you all.
The day ended with all visiting Ministers and members of the White Light Spiritualist Church enjoying a happy and noisy evening at the local Chinese restuarant.
